Spacious one bedroom apartment near Tavira on the East Algarve

My apartment is perfectly located to explore the area or simply relax at the pool or beach. There is a large choice of restaurants, cafés, bars and shops (including a fresh fish and vegetable market, butchers and supermarkets) and more within a short walk.
This spacious apartment has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday:
- The kitchen, lounge and bedroom all have doors which open directly onto the large sunny south facing terrace with open views towards the sea. There is air conditioning in the apartment to keep you cool.
- On the terrace itself, there is a large table with seating for eight people as well as sun parasols and sun loungers to relax on the terrace or by the pool.
- Inside the very large lounge, a three-seat sofa and a two-seat sofa that converts into a double sofa bed as well as a dining table with four chairs.
- There is free Wi-Fi and lots to keep you entertained indoors. The lounge has a large smart TV, DVD player and CD/radio system. The sideboard, cabinet and storage boxes have lots of books, DVDs, CDs and games as well as beach items for you to borrow.
- The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots/pans, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender and anything else you might need when you want to eat in.
- The bedroom has a king size bed with drawers, fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and air conditioning and the bathroom has a full-size bath with shower over.
- My apartment has everything for that home from home feeling. Wi-Fi is included as well as the use of two mountain bikes you can use to explore the area, cool bag and towels for the beach and hairdryer in the bathroom.

BEACH: Access to the fabulous beach on the Praia de Cabanas is a short walk from the apartment to the boardwalk where transfer to and from the beach takes around two minutes and is provided by the local fishermen for a small charge. If you have transport, there are many other beautiful beaches along the Algarve coastline, some which have direct access.
OUT AND ABOUT: You don’t need to hire a car during your stay as the train station at Conceição is a few minutes walk from the apartment. Here you can catch a train for a few Euros to Faro (and onwards to the Western Algarve) or to the East as far as Vila Real de Santo Antonio (20 kms), where you can board the ferry over to the Spanish town of Ayamonte. There are also buses to take you into Tavira and elsewhere or you can walk along the salt flats into Tavira. I can assist with transfer from/to Faro Airport if required.
ACTIVITIES: It is very easy to explore the area either on foot or hire a bike. If you like to go horse riding, this is available a short walk away through the orange groves. Quality golf courses within easy reach are Benamor (a short walk from apartment), Quinta de Cima, Quinta da Ria, Castro Marim and Monte Rei (Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course). You can hire paddle boards or kayaks or take a boat trip to check out dolphins. The area is a nature reserve so lots of birds to look for including flamingoes. There are lots more activities such as a running group, tennis courts, lawn bowls, croquet and more.
